GTA 6 Release Date Update Dropped Ahead Of Trailer 3

The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI really is expected to be bigger than anything we’ve seen before in the world of video games, with millions of players waiting the world over to see what Rockstar has in store for them. To date, the game has been delayed twice that we know of, with the release day now scheduled to go ahead on November 19.

That said, until the game is actually in the hands of players, there will always be a nervousness that something could go wrong, and the release could be put back once again, into 2027. Rockstar has remained pretty quiet for their part on what exactly is going on with their plans for the game, but new information has come to light that should come as very good news to fans.

As first reported by ComicBook, well-known industry insider NateTheHate has weighed in on what’s going on behind the scenes at Rockstar, and it seems as though there would need to be a problem of monumental proportions to delay the game once again.

“Unless something unexpected & catastrophically goes wrong with GTA VI in the immediate future… it’ll hit in November as planned,” they shared on Twiiter/X.

Though we do always have to take leaks and inside information with a healthy grain of salt, Nate’s recent track record is impressively stellar. They successfully posited the release of both the Star Fox remake and the Ocarina of Time remake ahead of time, both of which have now received official confirmation from Nintendo.

That revelation should mean that things are set to start ramping up around the game soon, with a third trailer the most likely course of action in short order. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has already confirmed that true marketing for the game will begin in the Summer, which technically begins any day now, so expect to start seeing a lot more posters and adverts soon.

The reality is that if there was any doubt over the currently scheduled release date, Rockstar and Take-Two probably would have confirmed a delay already, likely at the most recent earnings call.

Now, it’s simply a case of sitting tight and continuing to do what we have been doing for over a year now, and that’s wait. GTA VI should be worth every minute, if the final product matches the anticipation and hype, plus there’s a bunch of brilliant games around at the moment that are well worth your attention in the meantime.
