Xbox Game Pass has two more confirmed day-one releases for July 2026, including open-world sandbox game The Planet Crafter. The newly announced arrivals mark the sixth and seventh title that is now guaranteed to join Xbox Game Pass next month.
The Wave 2 Xbox Game Pass lineup for June 2026 has already offered a small preview of what fans can expect next month, scheduling Winds of Arcana: Ruination for July 6. The same roadmap also revealed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is at last making its way to the Premium tier of the service on July 2, a year after originally debuting on the higher tiers. Following up on that announcement, Microsoft has now confirmed two more titles poised to expand its content catalog in July 2026.
Xbox Game Pass Adds Perfect FIFA World Cup Game
The 15th title to join the Xbox Game Pass catalog in June 2026 is a popular sports game perfect for the newly started FIFA World Cup.
Fogpiercer Joins Xbox Game Pass on July 17
According to a trailer shared by the official Xbox YouTube channel on June 18, an upcoming indie title called Fogpiercer will join Xbox Game Pass on July 17. Made by Slovakia-based Mad Cookies Studio and published by strategy genre specialists at Hooded Horse, Fogpiercer is a deck-building roguelite that tasks players with decking out their very own train, then surviving dangerous missions by participating in grid-based tactical combat.
Planet Crafter Lands on Xbox Game Pass 4 Days Later
Also joining Xbox Game Pass next month is open-world survival crafting game The Planet Crafter, set on a vivid sci-fi planet that is diverse but deeply inhospitable. True to its name, the game tasks players with terraforming the said planet into a habitat fit for humanity. Developed by French studio Miju Games, the colorful survival title was originally released as a PC exclusive in April 2024. It is now scheduled to debut on consoles on July 21, 2026, the same day it arrives on Xbox Game Pass. Two Planet Crafter DLC packs were released in the two years following the game’s original launch: Planet Humble in October 2024 and Toxicity in November 2025. As is typically the case, neither DLC is expected to be included in the Xbox Game Pass version, though subscribers will be able to purchase both separately.

Although Fogpiercer and The Planet Crafter technically launch in the second half of July, they could still be announced as part of Xbox Game Pass’ Wave 1 lineup for July 2026. That possibility hinges on Microsoft sticking to its usual Tuesday cadence for biweekly roadmap reveals. The first Tuesday of the month falls on July 7, which is when the July Wave 1 lineup would likely be announced, while the third Tuesday is July 21, the same day The Planet Crafter is scheduled to join the Xbox Game Pass catalog. As a result, both titles may appear in the next Xbox Wire lineup post rather than being held for the month’s second wave.

The July 2026 lineup also includes Flyway Games’ sci-fi roguelite Ascend to Zero and the Halo: Campaign Evolved remake, scheduled for July 13 and 28, respectively. Before either of them arrive, Xbox Game Pass will drop eight titles from its content catalog on June 30.
