Tom Holland and Zendaya are officially married. The two actors met on the set of the first Spider-Man, and, ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, they’re walking the red carpet as husband and wife.

Holland and Zendaya have been largely private about their relationship, but quietly revealed their engagement in early January 2025, when Zendaya appeared at the 2025 Golden Globes with a diamond ring on her left-hand finger. This year at the Golden Globes, her longtime stylist, Law Roach, confirmed the duo was married. While neither party has said anything so far, Holland just confirmed it during an interview with Esquire.

When pressed for details about their big day, Roach had noted the wedding had “already happened” and that “it’s very true.” This led to a wave of AI-generated images online of the alleged wedding.

When asked about the images in the new interview, Holland noted he felt the situation was humorous. When asked if he had to send messages to his family about the AI photos not being real, he replied, “No, because they were all there.”

When asked for more details that the wedding has already happened, Holland replied, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”

Zendaya herself addressed the AI photos during her press tour for the A24 movie The Drama. “I was just out and about in real life and people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real,” Zendaya told Jimmy Kimmel in March.

Holland didn’t give any other specifics on his wedding and marriage to Zendaya, but he praised her, as they worked together on two upcoming projects, the fourth Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

“Our business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time. We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.”

He added, “So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”

Tom Holland and Zendaya, affectionately known as Tomdaya online, met while filming 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, as they played on-screen couple Peter Parker and Michelle “MJ” Jones. The two became friends immediately on set but denied any rumor of a relationship. They officially started dating in 2021.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day premieres in theaters on July 31.
