PlayStation regularly updates its Plus membership catalog, filtering games in and out of the library every month. While Sony is yet to announce which games are being added in July, the list of titles set to exit has now been revealed—and now is the time to gear up if you’ve had any of them on your wishlist.
According to the Last Chance to Play section on the official app, a total of 12 titles will be removed from the PlayStation Plus library next month. Here’s the list:
Four of these titles are exclusive to the PlayStation 4, while the rest are available on both PlayStation 4 and 5. This list is subject to change; Sony may add more titles to it as we approach July. If you were planning on trying any of them but didn’t get the chance to do so, you can still install and play them for free with your Plus subscription until June 16. While it’s unlikely to happen anytime soon, one or more of these titles might be added back to the catalog in the future.
While most of these games are worth a try, you definitely shouldn’t miss out on Risk of Rain 2, Röki, and Tropico 6. Risk of Rain 2 is a beautiful conundrum of addictive roguelike gameplay, calming visuals, and an excellent co-op experience, while Tropico 6 is a fun city-builder and political simulator with plenty of depth. Röki is a wonderfully crafted single-player adventure based on Nordic folklore, with its heartfelt storytelling and lovely puzzle design taking it to another level. I’d also mention Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (a unique action RPG) and Cursed to Golf (a roguelike golf adventure) from the list. As for titles you should skip to save time and energy, Source of Madness and Infinite Minigolf are games you wouldn’t regret missing out on.
As these titles prepare to leave in July, PlayStation Plus is also welcoming a bunch of new games this month and next to compensate. The July free games lineup is yet to be announced, but here’s a list of all free PlayStation Plus titles for June:
Most of these titles are (or will be) available only in the US, UK, and Japan, but Final Fantasy XVI and Gitaroo Man are now playable globally. Note that all of these games, except Gitaroo Man, are included with the PlayStation Plus Extra membership; Gitaroo Man requires the Premium tier.
