New Animal Crossing Release Drops November 2026, Available for Pre-Order Now

Animal Crossing is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and while there’s no new game on the horizon, Nintendo is releasing a brand new collection launching this November. Character magnets are currently available to preorder on Entertainment Earth, with 24 different Animal Crossing characters getting their own magnet.

Many of the most popular Animal Crossing characters are a part of this collection, including the seamstress sisters Sable and Mabel, and the adorable smug squirrel villager Marshal. There are 14 randomly-selected magnets in each set, with 24 magnets in total, so fans may need to pick up several sets to collect them all.

Animal Crossing Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary With Chara-Magnets

The Animal Crossing Chara-Magnets feature iconic characters from the Animal Crossing franchise, including Tom Nook, Brewster, Blathers, Lloid, and K.K. Slider. Each blind box case of 14 pieces is currently available for pre-order for $55.99, with the product line slated to arrive this November.

The original Animal Crossing was released back in 2001 and introduced players to a whole new kind of cozy gaming experience. The franchise lets players step into a bright and colorful, albeit less than fantastical, world populated by all manner of anthropomorphic characters who live, work, and play alongside gamers.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the most recent game in the series, arrived in 2020 to the delight of longtime and incoming fans alike. Animal Crossing: New Horizons quickly proved to be the most expansive Animal Crossing experience yet, with the title receiving a whole host of additions and updates in the years since.

As of December 2025, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is officially the second-highest-selling Nintendo Switch title, with more than 49.32 million units sold, a record that is beaten only by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, with its more than 70 million copies sold.

In January, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players got another major update to the game in the form of version 3.0, which was released alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the title. The update introduced a resort hotel and new mechanics, including the ability to craft and design in bulk, being able to deal with flowers in mass rather than individually, and enhanced Amiibo functionality and interactions within the game.

Unsurprisingly, these additions that came with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 3.0 update have been widely lauded by critics and gamers alike, with the various quality of life improvements standing as absolute highlights of the overall experience. While fans will have to wait for a new Animal Crossing game on the Switch 2, updates and special releases like this one are helping fans celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary in style.

The Animal Crossing Chara Magnets from Bandai are available for pre-order now for $55.99 per 14-piece blind box.
