Hogwarts Legacy was undoubtedly a huge success for Avalanche Studios and Warner Bros., with the game serving as one of the most popular single-player titles of recent years across all platforms. As such, a sequel is now on the way, with those in charge claiming that it will be closely tied to the upcoming release of the HBO adaptation.
A big part of its initial appeal was the ability to explore Hogwarts and the surrounding area at your leisure, finally becoming the wizard or witch that many children saw themselves at. That said, those traditional scholastic interactions were a little thin on the ground in the base game, but there is one new mod that has really dealt with that issue in spades.
Tired Of Waiting For Hogwarts Legacy 2?
Over on Reddit, fans have been sharing the mod Wizarding Academy RP, a framework that allows players to create multiplayer experiences within the world of Hogwarts Legacy. As the name suggests, it puts the emphasis on a realistic schooling experience, where you’ll be heading off to class and interacting with other students, handily played by other real-world players.
One of the weakest areas of the original game was just how uninteractive many of the other students were. Given that this is now taking off a bit, and more players are getting involved, it really should have the knock-on effect of making the legendary halls of Hogwarts feel a lot more alive.
The game also features a text chat to enable you to communicate effectively with everyone for the time being, with voice chat being developed and added to the overall experience in relatively short order.
As you might expect, there were plenty of excited responses when players found out about the mod’s existence, with one saying, “Thanks for letting us know! This looks incredible and I would not have heard of it otherwise! Appreciated!”
While another added, “Dang! First time I’ve ever wanted to own a gaming PC!”
The team behind the servers are currently accepting applications for all sorts of roles, so if you have ever fancied being a professor and teaching classes, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
Hogwarts Legacy Fans Are Keeping The Game Alive
Other than that, it’s simply going to be a case of sitting tight and waiting to hear more about the Hogwarts Legacy sequel. Given that the TV series is set to come out next year, they will likely want the game to arrive at a similar time, so hopefully there shouldn’t be too long to wait before the developer breaks cover.
