Cyberpunk 2077 is continually receiving new content well into 2026 and will likely continue to do so in the years to come. It is all thanks to the incredibly strong foundation CD Projekt Red has built, upon which it and its loyal fanbase continue to add more. Frankly, despite being a single-player open-world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077 has, in recent years, begun to feel more like a live service title, something that has proven to work strongly in its favor.
From brand-new Cyberpunk 2077 DLC to mods that add hundreds of quests, the stream of new content is impressive, to say the least, and it is showing no signs of slowing down. Indeed, CD Projekt Red is back again with an official new piece of Cyberpunk 2077 content that is dropping in July 2026. However, this time, things are a little different, as instead of it being a simple new quest or update, CD Projekt Red has gone above and beyond to deliver something fans will truly appreciate.
CD Projekt Red has recently announced a brand-new piece of Cyberpunk 2077 merchandise that is perfect for both dedicated fans and cosplayers alike: the Cyberpunk 2077 Valentino Thermal Katana. Made in collaboration with ZiNG Toys (who previously made the Skippy Gel Blaster), this katana is available for pre-order right now via the official CD Projekt Red Gear Store for $120. While the pre-orders are live now, the item isn’t expected to ship until July 2026. Of course, this is until stocks last, so fans who have the money to spare should really put their order in as soon as possible.
The katana is a 1:1 replica, coming in at 47 inches long. Made out of a high-quality injection-moulded plastic, the Cyberpunk 2077 Valentino Thermal Katana also comes with built-in LEDs and sound effects. A stand is included for those who would rather display the blade than use it in a cosplay, and it comes in three different parts for easy construction once it has arrived. This is obviously not the first piece of Cyberpunk 2077 5th anniversary merchandise, but it may just be its most impressive.
It is worth noting that the Cyberpunk 2077 Valentino Thermal Katana cannot be shipped to the Netherlands, Switzerland, Japan, or Australia. So, anyone in those regions hoping to pre-order the item is, sadly, out of luck. Additionally, the $120 doesn’t include shipping, so that will be a further cost one should take into consideration before pre-ordering. Naturally, the shipping cost will vary depending on the state or, indeed, country one is buying from.
Regardless, it is good to see CD Projekt Red think outside the box when it comes to merchandise and offering fans unique items pulled directly from the game. While it is certainly a more premium piece of merchandise and thus fairly expensive, it is undeniably a more bespoke item that will quite literally light up one’s room if used as decoration. For those who are interested in picking up this latest Cyberpunk 2077 release, be sure to get your pre-order in now before it ships in July 2026.
