Xbox Game Pass subscribers have another day-one release to check out, this time in the form of Stormcloud Games’ 3D action platformer Junkster. Microsoft’s subscription service continues to add a steady stream of new titles across Xbox consoles, PC, cloud, and handheld devices, with members gaining access to everything from AAA releases to smaller indie projects that might fall under the radar. So far, June has been a particularly busy month for Xbox Game Pass.
Subscribers have already received an interesting selection of titles on Xbox Game Pass in the first half of June. Additions include the cozy open-world survival game Solarpunk, the boxing title Undisputed, the returning RPG Persona 5 Royal, the cooking-focused life sim and deckbuilder Beastro, the co-op platformer Frog Squwad, and most recently Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions. And now, with the addition of another day-one launch title, June’s lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles continues to grow.
17 Games Confirmed for Xbox Game Pass at the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase
As is usually the case with Microsoft’s showcases, Xbox Game Pass now subscribers have a whole new suite of games to look forward to.
Xbox Game Pass Players Can Now Embody a Junkyard Robot in Junkster
On June 16, Junkster, developed by Stormcloud Games, joined the Xbox Game Pass library as a day-one launch title for Ultimate and PC subscribers. The 3D platformer puts players in control of UM-13, a small construction robot stranded on a dangerous junkyard planet after a crash landing. Armed with a robo-wrench, UM-13 must recover lost cargo, collect valuable artifacts, and repair his damaged ship. Junkster features a building mechanic that lets players construct objects and solve environmental challenges while they explore their new temporary junkyard home.
Junkster is just one of several day-one releases that have arrived on Xbox Game Pass in June, and there are still more to come for the month. On June 17, subscribers have Shift at Midnight, a co-op detective horror game that will be launching day one on the service. Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to jump into EA Sports UFC through EA Play when it comes out of early access on June 18, and the PC editon of Age of Empires Mobile will be launching just a few days later on June 23. Also, in July, the official 1.0 version of Palworld will be released after more than two years in early access.

Fans of platformers also have a bevy of choices available on the subscription service. Of course, Hollow Knight: Silksong stands out among the bunch, as do Super Meat Boy 3D and Planet of Lana 2. Hazelight’s award-winning co-op game It Takes Two is also still available through EA Play with Game Pass, and Little Nightmares 2 for those who like a more unsettling vibe. In addition to the aforementioned co-op puzzle platformer Frog Squwad, Game Pass Ultimate and PC members also recently got Replaced, a cyberpunk platforming adventure set in an alternate 1980’s America. And on July 17, the service will also add Denshattack when it launches. The fast-paced platformer puts players in control of a train racing through a dystopian Japan.
