The UFC is coming to the heart of Washington, D.C. this weekend with UFC Freedom 250 taking place on the South Lawn of the White House on Sunday.
At the top of the White House UFC fight card is a pair of title fights. Up first is a battle between Alex Pereira (13-3) and Ciryl Gane (13-2, 1 NC) for the interim UFC heavyweight title. The belt was vacated after Gane accidentally poked Tom Aspinall’s eyes during their October fight for Aspinall’s title. If Pereira can win, he’ll be the first UFC fighter to hold titles in three weight classes.

After Pereira vs. Gane, lightweight champion Ilia Topuria (17-0) will face interim champion Justin Gaethje (25-5) in the main event. Topuria last fought almost a year ago when he knocked out Charles Oliveira for the vacant title. Gaethje is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Paddy Pimblett in January.
Besides the title fights, UFC fans will also get fights with big names like Sean O’Malley, Derrick Lewis, Michael Chandler, and Bo Nickal.

Gane vs. Pereira is expected to be a very close one, with both fighters at -113, as of writing. The undefeated Topuria is expected to win the last fight of the night with a -560 against Gaethje’s +370.
