The Boys Isn’t Done Yet, Starlight And Homelander Officially Return For New Chapter

Airing its series finale back in April, the hit Amazon Prime show The Boys has finally come to an end after bringing us entertainment and outright chaos since it first aired back in 2019. The satirical superhero series takes place in a world where superheroes are nothing more than narcissistic, corrupt “celebrities” and the story follows a group of powerless vigilantes known as “The Boys” who must come together to expose the superhero’s dark personalities and tyrannical rules.

Praised for its unique spin on the superhero genre, as well as its acting, visuals, and action sequences, The Boys ran for five seasons, and although the second half of the show was met with mixed reviews, it is overall remembered fondly by fans, which is why this latest announcement has caused quite a bit of excitement.

Erin Moriarty as Starlight in The Boys

Courtesy of a blog post on the official Call of Duty website, we now know that The Boys will be making a return with three of its most iconic characters set to join the Call of Duty: Mobile roster. In the upcoming action-packed season, players can expect a brand-new game mode, a themed event, and the arrival of three characters who are guaranteed to shake up the battlefield. Not only that, but with the arrival of Season 5, players can look forward to the Armored Royale, the BAL-27 Assault Rifle, Double COD Points offers, a brand-new Battle Pass, the Kui Ji Mythic Operator, and more.

Exact revenge and grasp victory from your foes with the arrival of Call of Duty®: Mobile Season 5, featuring an exciting collaboration with The Boys delivering two superpowered game modes, a themed event with over a dozen rewards, and three Draws — led by Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir — inspired by the hit TV show which has just concluded running its final season. Take advantage of the Double COD Points and Web Store offers to acquire all the new content.

Season 5 of Call of Duty: Mobile released back on 27 May, but with it being a mobile game, many of us missed the exciting collaboration. I know I did. However, it is not too late to get stuck in, and get more of your favorite The Boys characters following the epic series finale.

To celebrate the launch, an official trailer was shared on the Call of Duty: Mobile YouTube account, and it is here that we can see Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir make an appearance.

So, if you are feeling the void after The Boys finally came to an end earlier this year, make sure to check out the latest season of Call of Duty: Mobile and cause havoc on the battlefield in superhero style.
