Stranger Things Officially Begins A New Era, Story Is Just Beginning

It was back in December 2025 that Stranger Things finally came to an end after spending almost a decade as one of Netflix’s most watched shows. Even if you never watched the sci-fi television show created by the Duffer Brothers, you have most certainly heard of it, as Stranger Things quickly became a cultural phenomenon when it first aired back in 2016.

Telling the story of a bunch of kids living in 1980s Indiana, we follow them as they embark on a journey across their town of Hawkins, which has found itself at the mercy of a supernatural threat. With government cover-ups and an alternate plane known as The Upside Down to contend with, the children must harness their own powers in order to deal with the threat and save their loved ones.

The series finale aired back in December 2025, and despite being met with mixed reviews, there is no denying that millions of fans still miss Stranger Things and the community it created. Well, what if I was to tell you that Stranger Things is far from over, and since the finale last year, multiple new releases have already shocked the internet.

Of course, there is Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, an animated spin-off show that is currently available to watch on Netflix. Set between Season 2 and 3, it follows Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Max as they unravel brand-new paranormal entities and events. Aimed to capture the magic of early 1980ss cartoons, complete with colorful visuals and art style, Tales From ’85 has already been a hit for the biggest Stranger Things fans.

However, the video game world has also got their hands on the Stranger Things IP with a series of exciting new releases. There is Stranger Things Arcade, a brand-new officially licensed arcade machine inspired by the hit series that tasks 1-4 players to use their ball-tossing abilities to take down Vecna and some other iconic villains. Set across an 86-inch, 4K screen, players can team up and take to some of the show’s most iconic locations.

However, if your town does not have Stranger Things Arcade, you can still gather your friends and have a Dungeons & Dragons-style evening with a brand-new TTRPG based on Stranger Things. Welcome to the Hellfire Club is a starter set and tabletop board game designed for 3-6 players and, as you can probably expect, is based around fan-favorite character, Eddie Munson. Filled with 80s-inspired flair, Demogorgons, and digital integration, Welcome to the Hellfire Club will even allow you to choose from the pre-built characters created by characters in Stranger Things, such as Dustin’s Nog the Dwarf. Not only that, but the physical box includes everything you could need for the full TTRPG experience, including 11 dice, adventure booklet, a retro Dungeon Master’s screen, collectible cards, and character tokens.

This is just a few examples of how Stranger Things continues to dominate the media landscape despite the main show coming to an end back in December. With the hit Netflix show celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, there is no doubt that there will be plenty of more releases set to arrive, giving us the opportunity to head back to Hawkins and continue where we left off.
