Both the Standard and Deluxe versions of the figure come with a whole host of accessories, such as a beer mug and Roronoa Zoro’s swords, as well as several interchangeable parts. Among the latter are nine interchangeable hands and four interchangeable heads, each with a movable eye. The Standard Edition is currently available for $280, while the Deluxe Edition, which comes with an additional, explosive, LED-illuminated base, is available for around $350.

Introduced in just the third chapter of Eiichiro Oda’s original One Piece manga, the acclaimed swordsman Roronoa Zoro has been an integral part of the series and wider franchise from almost the very beginning. Between his near incessantly cool demeanor and impeccable talents as a master of the fabled Three Sword Style, Zoro quickly established himself as not just a fan-favorite character, but as a member of the Straw Hat Pirates’ own Monster Trio alongside Monkey D. Luffy and Sanji.

In the decades since his debut, Roronoa Zoro has not only maintained his place in the One Piece manga but has also become one of the most popular characters in the entire franchise. In fact, it was only back in March that Zoro officially replaced Monkey D. Luffy as the top One Piece character in Japan. This news came along with the results of an Oricon poll, and was a major shock to many at the time.

In an even more surprising turn, the results of that very same poll were overturned just weeks later, with Monkey D. Luffy reclaiming his place as the most popular One Piece character in Japan. It was reported in April that the then-latest round of votes in Oricon’s popularity survey had been re-evaluated, purportedly to “remove any fraudulent votes.” With that, the results of the initial poll were demonstrably shifted back in Luffy’s favor.

The Roronoa Zoro Sixth Scale figure from Jimei Palace and CosmicCreations is currently available in both Standard and Deluxe versions via online retailers, such as Sideshow.
