Naruto Gives Sakura Haruno an Official Summer Makeover in New First Look

Sakura Uchiha returns to Naruto with a stunning new look. The pink-haired medical beauty is hitting the beach with a gorgeous summer makeover.

Just in time for the summer, Sakura Uchiha is debuting a jaw-dropping new outfit for the Naruto Mobile video game developed by Tencent Games. In the new animated intro, Sakura is playing a fun, yet intense game of beach volleyball with an unseen opponent. Despite how tight the game becomes, Sakura laughs off the sweat and drama as the apparent victor.

Needless to say, Sakura’s summer upgrade is a far more welcome addition than the unfortunate redesign Naruto received recently in the U.S. Sakura Haruno (Beach Volleyball) is comingto Naruto Mobile on June 12, 2026. The free-to-play side-scrolling action game is currently exclusive to China.

Sakura Shines in Naruto’s Beautiful New Summer Reveal

“The summer sea breeze brushes through her hair with each step, and a spike echoes across the height of summer,” the official description for Sakura’s new look reads, via Naruto Mobile. “The brand-new summer ninja, Sakura Haruno (Beach Volleyball), is coming soon — let’s kick off a heart-racing summer together! Sakura Haruno (Beach Volleyball) will arrive in Naruto Mobile as a brand-new A-Rank character on June 12, 2026.”

For 10 years, Naruto Mobile has allowed fans, new and old, to relive their fondest memories of the iconic Shonen Jump series while forging new ones through its exciting experiences. Recently, Naruto Mobile reunited the knuckleheaded ninja with the “Pervy Sage,” Jiraiya, in an emotional cinematic episode that highlighted a heartwarming connection between sensei and kohai.

Additionally, Naruto Mobile also brought back Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, in a powerful new debut worthy of her legacy. The F2P mobile game has given the spotlight to vital, yet underrated characters in the Naruto-verse as well, such as Izuna Uchiha, the brother of Madara Uchiha.

As Naruto Mobile enters its 10th year with no signs of slowing down, the Naruto anime franchise is setting the stage for a massive 2027 revival. Per TV Tokyo, new anime, games and more are on the horizon for the Naruto and Boruto franchises.

Fans are speculating that the long-delayed 20th anniversary Naruto specials will finally see the light of day, with the 25th milestone approaching next year. Studio Pierrot, which has worked on Naruto and Boruto since 2002, will finally wrap up its anime adaptation of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War this summer.

The official Naruto YouTube channel recently released a recap video for Part 1 of Boruto, covered in the 2017 anime TV series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The Boruto 10th anniversary video, “Boruto: Road to Two Blue Vortex,” has many fans believing it foreshadows an official anime announcement for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, which has been ongoing in V Jump magazine since October 2023.
