K-Pop Demon Hunters is officially returning to theaters next week with low ticket prices.

Regal Cinemas is re-releasing K-Pop Demon Hunters in its sing-along format from June 15 to June 18 at select theaters, with tickets being priced at just $1. The movie is part of Regal’s lineup for Summer Movie Express 2026 (SMX26), which sees the theater chain re-releasing family movies in select locations for just $1 per ticket. K-Pop Demon Hunters is part of that lineup, which also includes the likes of The Wild Robot, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and How to Train Your Dragon, which have their own theatrical re-release time slots.

Given K-Pop Demon Hunters‘ critical success and its jump to the most-watched movie ever released on Netflix, it’s no surprise that it’s part of Regal’s larger lineup for movies that will be coming out for $1 family nights at various locations. The animated action film was first released in theaters for a limited time from August 23 to 24, 2025, and again from October 31 to November 2, 2025. It ended up becoming Number 1 at the box office in the United States both times, garnering a total of $24.7 million across its releases.

This will, of course, not be reflected in its latest release from Regal, whose intention is to release the movie as a money-saving opportunity for families to go to the theater together. While K-Pop Demon Hunters doesn’t stand to break any records from its upcoming re-release, it will be prioritizing bringing more people to see the movie on the big screen. And, although the event is aimed at families, it means fans of the movie can see it in theaters again, or for the first time at a low price if they missed out.

The movie’s release can help tide over fans who are anticipating the franchise’s eventual expansion as well. Netflix confirmed K-Pop Demon Hunters 2 is intended to be released in 2029, or later depending on how production of the sequel shapes up. The movie’s re-release also goes to show how much an impact the film has had after less than a year of being released, getting a third theatrical announcement ahead of its first anniversary on June 20.

The movie has been on a streak of success since its initial debut on Netflix, signaling Regal’s re-release will be no different. This includes its Golden Globe wins for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Golden,” which also won an Oscar. There will also be a K-Pop Demon Hunters global tour organized by Netflix and AEG Presents, although details have yet to be revealed. It’s clear the movie has a longevity to it that will likely keep it in the spotlight up until the sequel arrives.
