Halo is one of the biggest names in gaming, and fans happily eat up every new bit of Master Chief content that they’re given. Now, Xbox fans have the chance to claim a free download for Halo: Campaign Evolved before it even releases.
From now until July 30, Xbox is offering one of the most unique cosmetics ever put in a Halo game. And the reason for this distinct new Spartan armor is a collaboration between Microsoft and one of the biggest soft drink companies in the world.
Xbox Offers Free Halo Campaign Evolved Download Until July 30
For a limited-time, Xbox and Fanta have come together to offer Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X owners special in-game Fanta-branded items in various first-party titles. Despite not coming out until July 28, there’s even a special item for Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Specifically, gamers planning on buying Campaign Evolved have the chance to claim “The Master Chief’s Fantastic Spartan Armor.” This bright orange, blue and grey Spartan armor is like no other, and can be obtained through the following method.
First, gamers will need to scan the QR code on the side of specially branded drink packaging. Once that’s done, they’ll get the chance to play one of three Fanta Rewards Chest games: Extract the Cargo, Survive the Sweep, and Shatter the Spell.
After that, gamers will be entered into a sweepstakes for prizes including a ROG Xbox Ally, an Xbox Series S, an Xbox Wireless Controller, and one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (for new subscribers only). At the same time, they’ll be given the code for their in-game item.
Other items Xbox Series X/S owners can obtain include the following: the “Fantastical Goblin Waveshredder Mount” and more in World of Warcraft, the “Tactical Orange Calling Card” and 1-Hour 2XP Level Token in Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the “Citron Whirl Town Portal” in Diablo IV, and the “1966 Toyota Sports 800 Fanta Edition” in Forza Horizon 6.
Importantly, the collaboration between Xbox and Fanta won’t last forever. To get “The Master Chief’s Fantastic Spartan Armor,” in Halo: Campaign Evolved, it must be claimed before July 30, and while supply lasts.
