It’s officially a new era for Fairy Tail as Hiro Mashima’s popular manga closes in on its 20th anniversary in August. Per Essential Japan, Bandai Spirits revealed new Ichiban Kuji MASTERLISE figures with designs for Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Happy, Ezra Scarlet and more from Mashima’s iconic manga series.
The new “Ichiban Kuji Fairy Tail 20th Anniversary” collection from Bandai Spirits allows fans to commemorate the anniversary through an exciting no-lose lottery system. Fans can purchase tickets for a chance to win a premium Fairy Tail figure featuring one of the beloved members of the core cast when the lottery launches in October.
Fairy Tail’s Beloved Main Characters Get New Designs in 20th Anniversary Figure Reveal
Bandai Spirits revealed the official starting lineup for the new Ichiban Kuji lottery commemorating Fairy Tail‘s 20th Anniversary on Wednesday, June 3. The collection includes four iconic figures every Fairy Tail fan will recognize in a heartbeat. More prizes and special promotions are set to be announced before the “Ichiban Kuji Fairy Tail 20th Anniversary” lottery officially launches on October 3, 2026.
Fairy Tail‘s upcoming 20th Anniversary figures feature the most iconic characters from the series in their most nostalgic forms. The new MASTERLISE figures take fans back in time with each character’s base design, depicted in stunning detail.
Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Happy and Ezra Scarlet are currently the only confirmed lottery prizes. However, more prizes are expected to be revealed before the October launch date.
The price for one “Ichiban Kuji Fairy Tail 20th Anniversary” lottery ticket is 850 Japanese Yen (about $5.31 USD). Every customer who purchases a ticket for the Fairy Tail lottery will receive a prize, but only one lucky customer will win Ezra Scarlet as the “Last One Prize.” The Ezra Scarlet MASTERLISE Figure depicts the red-haired Fairy Tail icon wielding a large sword in her signature armor, and the other three MASTERLISE figures are equally captivating.
Natsu Dragneel’s new figure depicts everything from the hero’s fiery fist to his mischievous smile in eye-catching detail. Lucy’s confidently posed figure perfectly highlights the celestial mage’s bright smile and stylish accessories. Last but not least, Happy the Exceed dons his classic green backpack and a fierce expression in the magical cat’s latest figure design.
Other 20th anniversary celebrations for the beloved fantasy adventure series include the upcoming debut of Mashima’s new Fairy Tail miniseries. The new Fairy Tail series is scheduled to begin its release in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on July 29, 2026, one week earlier than the original release date of August 5.
August marks two decades since the debut of Fairy Tail‘s manga. 20 years later, there are over 72 million copies of Fairy Tail in circulation worldwide.
