Bleach Officially Revives Nemu With New Glitter & Glamours Reveal

Bleach‘s Thousand-Year Blood War arc may not have been the kindest to Nemu Kurotsuchi, but the fan-favorite character is officially making her way back in a gorgeous new way. Nemu is the next character to join Bandai Spirits’ Glitter & Glamours figure series.

Japan’s Toy People News reports that a new Glitter & Glamours Nemu Kurotsuchi figure is set to be sold as a prize figure sometime in June 2026. Released by the Banpresto prize-figure brand, the Glitter & Glamours lineup focuses on ‘dazzling and captivating female characters.’

Other figures released as part of the line include Chainsaw Man’s Reze, Dandadan’s Momo Ayase and even Bleach‘s Tier Harribel. The figure’s images show an incredible amount of detail, beautifully recreating Nemu in an appropriately alluring pose.

Bleach’s Nemu Shines in New Glitter & Glamours PVC Figure

The Bleach Glitter & Glamours Nemu Kurotsuchi figure stands at 24 cm (~9.4 inches) tall and depicts the character in her signature outfit, with a slender physique and alarge bust. The figure’s pose sees Nemu grazing one hand along her neck, while the other is outstretched, perfectly encapsulating both the glitter and the glamour of the lineup’s namesake.

In Bleach, Nemu was the Vice-Captain of the Gotei 13’s 12th Division, serving directly under Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi. She is a rather unique character in Bleach‘s lore, not human but an artificial lifeform created by Mayuri through the Nemuri project, combining an artificial body with modified soul technology. As a result, her body has proven to be more than capable of withstanding otherwise fatal injuries, although Bleach’s Thousand-Year Blood War arc proved that she was far from invincible.

While an exact release date has not been announced for the Glitter & Glamours Nemu figure, its arrival sometime this month joins an ever-increasing lineup of anime figures from Banpresto. Several figures available for pre-order on the online Jump Ichiban store are also marked as being released throughout June, from My Hero Academia‘s Nejire Hado to Himiko Toga, as well as My Dress-Up Darling‘s Marin Kitagawa.

The upcoming months will see even more Glitter & Glamours figures on the way across several major anime franchises. One Piece‘s Nami and Nico Robin will get glamorous Summer Style figures in July, while a special transparent version of My Hero Academia‘s Invisible Girl is scheduled for release in August.

Nemu’s Thousand-Year Blood War Death Is More Complicated Than It Appears

Bleach fans keeping up with the latest Thousand-Year Blood War arc episodes will already know that Nemu met an untimely fate in the 402nd episode of the series, titled ‘Baby Hold Your Hand, Part 2.’ Nemu proved her loyalty to Mayuri was resolute until the very end, sacrificing herself when her artificial body exceeded its own limits when she compressed six percent of her soul into a single strike to take down the villainous Sternritter Pernida Parnkgjas.

While Nemu’s fate was heartbreaking, there was actually a surprising silver lining. While the original Nemu is certainly dead, Mayuri was able to recover her brain, hinting that an eighth iteration of the Nemuri Project may soon be on the way before the Thousand-Year Blood War officially wraps up.

Banpresto’s Glitter & Glamours Nemu Kurotsuchi figure is set for release sometime in June 2026.
