Attack on Titan Officially Reveals Eren’s Biggest Transformation in 17 Years

Attack on Titan‘s latest officially licensed release has brought back Eren in his destructive Attack Titan form.

Blazer Studio has released a new Attack on Titan figure as a part of their Bust Up series, based on Eren’s transformation into the Attack Titan from the anime’s final season. This massive figure, which features the torso of the Attack Titan roaring menacingly, stands at an impressive scale measuring 50.7 cm in length, 54 cm in height and 35.4 cm in depth.

Blazer Studio Reveals New Eren Yeager’s Attack Titan Figure

The design for this Attack Titan figure is directly inspired by Eren’s transformation in the Liberio internment zone from the Declaration of War episode. Made of high-grade resin and PU, the figure accurately captures the texture of the titan’s flesh, the bulging veins and muscles throughout the body, and the glowing green eyes. Additionally, the vivid red paint used on the titan’s tongue is said to give it a more organic feel.

The figure also comes with a base that showcases the building’s bursting rubble after Eren turned into the titan. Dynamic elements such as shattered rock fragments and translucent yellow lightning-effect parts are placed across the torso, adding realism to the figure. This figure is currently available for pre-order at 3,680 RMB (approximately US$543) and will officially ship sometime in the first quarter of 2027.

Eren’s transformation and subsequent attack on Liberio are one of the most widely discussed and shocking moments across the entire series. After cornering Reiner in disguise, Eren transforms into the Attack Titan as a direct response to Willy Tybur’s formal declaration of war against Paradis Island.

This attack was planned to deliberately cripple Marley’s military leadership and buy more time to set Eren and Zeke’s plans in motion. However, it also resulted in the immediate deaths of numerous innocent civilian spectators, making it one of Eren’s worst acts in the series. This is also the point at which viewers begin to see a more pronounced transformation in Eren, culminating in his embracing his darker side and unleashing the Rumbling.

Animated by MAPPA, Attack on Titan: The Final Season originally aired in multiple parts starting in December 2020, eventually concluding with two feature-length television specials in March 2023 and November 2023. Though its production was marred by controversies surrounding animation planning and strict scheduling, the final season still earned numerous accolades. It notably took home Anime of the Year at the 2022 Crunchyroll Anime Awards and even secured a Guinness World Record as the most in-demand TV show at the time.

Attack on Titan is currently available to stream on both Hulu and Crunchyroll in the United States.
