Transformers Officially Reveals 2 New Monster Jam Designs in New First Look

As one of the premier toy brands since the 1980s, Hasbro’s Transformers has shared the toy aisle with countless franchises. This has also involved a litany of crossovers, with the newest of these being truly monstrous.

New images have been revealed for the upcoming Transformers x Monster Jam collaboration toys. These figures, meant for younger collectors, combine the idea of the robots in disguise with the bestial vehicles of the Monster Jam brand. There’s no word on how much these will cost or when they’ll be available, but fans will likely see them roll out onto shelves sometime this year.

Transformers x Monster Jam Expands With 2 New Designs

The two figures for the Transformers x Monster Jam collaboration, as mentioned, exemplify simplified, easier transformations, making them perfect for younger fans just getting into either franchise. These toys are completely original characters, though both are Autobots, and, theoretically, their alternate modes are beast and vehicle modes.

El Toro Loco Furioso is a red and orange Autobot with a bull’s head in robot mode, with his alternate mode being a cartoonish bull-themed monster truck. Conversely, Megalodon Big Tooth is a blue-and-grey Autobot who transforms into a shark-themed monster truck. Their transformations, matching the toys’ simplistic nature, are seemingly the same, with the vehicle-mode wheels on their arms and legs, and the front of these modes forming the tops of their robot-mode legs.

Along with Autobot symbols on both of their shoulders in robot mode, both Megalodon Big Tooth and El Toro Loco Furioso have the “Monster Jam” branding on their chests. As mentioned, an exact release date and price point haven’t been revealed for the toys, though given that the images already show their packaging, they’re most likely to come out sometime this year.

Transformers has been no stranger to crossover and collaborative merchandise, with the franchise teaming up with various properties across sports teams, movies, TV shows, video games and anime. This sense of camaraderie has extended to other major toy and vehicle-based franchises, with 2026 seeing the release of a second wave of Transformers x Hot Wheels action figures. Given the success of those toys, it’s likely that Monster Jam (which has been a monster truck-based sporting event since 1992, eight years after Transformers’ debut) will see a similar continuation down the line.
