There’s no denying that Sukuna is the biggest villain in all of Jujutsu Kaisen. Characters like Mahito and Kenjaku might be more active in the plot, but Sukuna’s impending threat has been lingering in the back of every character’s mind from day one, and the devastation caused in his fights with Jogo and Mahoraga makes it pretty clear why he needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.
Jujutsu Kaisen won’t end without Sukuna fully ascending into the role of a major villain, and anyone waiting for that will be more than satisfied with season 4, as that will be when Sukuna’s plot is finally revealed, and the final battle against him starts to come together. Going right along with that, Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 will also introduce a character meant to serve as Sukuna’s opposite, and that’s true with both their personality and their god-tier power level.
Why Angel Is Sukuna’s God-Tier Opposite In Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 set up the importance of finding Angel, a sorcerer who can extinguish Cursed Techniques and free Gojo from the Prison Realm, and while she appeared briefly near the end of the season, Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 is when her character will be fully explored. There, it will be revealed that Angel is another reincarnated sorcerer possessing a girl named Hana Kurusu, and they reincarnated to kill Sukuna and put an end to his evil, with Hana going along with it to support Megumi after falling in love with him as a child.
Angel is one of the few characters who serves as an archenemy to Sukuna, and that, of course, comes with some notable parallels. Hana and Angel exist in the same way as Yuji and Sukuna in that Angel lives inside Hana’s body instead of possessing it outright, but Angel willingly cooperates with Hana as opposed to Sukuna having no say and him and Yuji hating each other. Hana herself is even a bit of a goofy character whose personality has some overlap with Yuji, so it’s clear that the duos are meant to parallel one another.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Is Going To Finally Reveal Sukuna’s Strongest Form Ever
Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 is on the horizon, and by the time it ends, fans old and new will finally get to see Sukuna’s strongest form in animation.
The biggest parallel between Angel and Sukuna, of course, is with their powers. As their name would suggest, Angel’s Cursed Technique, Jacob’s Ladder, manifests as beams of light and calls to mind benevolent Christian lore as opposed to Sukuna referencing evil and violent entities of Buddhist lore, and it’s an incredibly powerful technique that almost killed Sukuna when he possessed Megumi. Sukuna only survived by tricking Hana, but it’s clear that Angel is one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, and that, combined with their dynamic with Hana, makes them Sukuna’s perfect opposite.

Even without their parallels to Yuji and Sukuna, Hana and Angel will still be amazing additions to Jujutsu Kaisen season 4. Not only will it be great to introduce more powerful characters, but the levity Hana brings through her fun personality and interactions with Yuji does a lot to balance out how dark and dramatic the Culling Games arc gets, and she also helps develop Yuji’s character as she forces him to grapple with Nobara’s possible death and make an attempt at moving past it.
