As was reported by Pure Xbox, the studio made a post that was then shared on Reddit, highlighting a hotfix planned for The Eliminator game mode. According to the report, players were exploiting the game mode to gain millions of credits in a short amount of time – an error on the studio’s part. Playground took the mode down temporarily to fix this issue and simultaneously restored the accounts of those who used the exploit to a maximum of 10 million credits, though no further action was taken.

As part of this hotfix, Playground is giving players a free car for the 10/10 freebie on Xbox Game Pass. Because the studio disabled The Eliminator mode to fix it and as a “gesture of goodwill,” every player in the game will soon be able to claim the 2021 McLaren Sabre for free. The hypercar will be claimable in the Gifts section via the Message Center in the game without having to do anything else.

The 2021 McLaren Sabre isn’t listed among the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 6, but it does boast impressive stats that every player should enjoy. Without modifying it, the free car offers 7.5 speed, 7.4 handling, 8.3 acceleration, 10.0 launch, 9.1 braking, and 4.8 offroad. It classifies as an S1 Class vehicle, so this is a massive gift from Playground Games. Be sure to claim it once the download is issued, possibly with the start of Series 2 this Thursday.

Even without the free 2021 McLaren Sabre, there are plenty of great cars you can get by participating in events and purchasing via the in-game auction system.
