A toy manufacturer has potentially leaked that a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas could be in development, according to figurine listings discovered on social media. Fallout: New Vegas is considered a fan-favorite of the Fallout franchise due to its storytelling and emphasis on player freedom.
Speculation about a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas has been a recurring topic throughout 2026. In January, a Steam issue concerning user reviews of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas led fans to believe that a possible remaster was imminent. The issue prevented players from reviewing either game, as they were met with a message that told users to wait until the product was released. Given that Fallout: New Vegas has been available on Steam since 2010, the error message should not have appeared under normal circumstances.
Xbox Adding New Flexible Game Pass Options
It appears that Microsoft’s flagship gaming subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, could receive more flexible options as soon as summer 2026.
Fallout: New Vegas Figurine Leak May Hint at a Remaster
Though rumors about a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas should be taken with a grain of salt, the latest rumor comes from a listing by one of Bethesda’s merchandising partners. According to a post on the Fallout subreddit, McFarlane Toys’ branch in China has listed two items listed for an October release. The new figures are called Fallout New California Ranger 1/10 and Scorched New California Sierra Member 1/10. Though each figure was listed as part of the Fallout 4 lineup, the Scorched Sierra Power Armor is exclusive to Fallout: New Vegas. The leak came just three months after McFarlane’s Chinese retail shop listed a Fallout 3 Remastered T-45B Nuka-Cola figure, with a possible release window of July. As of this writing, Bethesda has not revealed any information about a potential Fallout: New Vegas remaster.
In response, some Reddit users stated that Bethesda has already revealed Fallout-branded figures of the T-45 Power Armor in Military Green paint, alongside Paladin Danse and Joshua Graham. Other users indicated that, since The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered was shadowdropped following various leaks, that Bethesda could attempt a similar game release with Fallout: New Vegas. While doubts about a Fallout: New Vegas remaster have also been raised on social media, it remains to be seen what Bethesda’s plans are heading into the rest of 2026 and beyond.
Currently, the only Fallout: New Vegas release that has been confirmed by Bethesda is the limited-edition Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle. This bundle includes a Steam code for Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, along with an 8-inch PVC statue of Victor the Securitron, a set of Doc Mitchell’s Evaluation cards, a Vault Boy enamel pin, and patches of the Mojave Express and the NCR Recon unit. The Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle is still available at the Bethesda Gear Store for $154.99. It remains to be seen how much longer Fallout fans will have to get the bundle before it sells out.

With Xbox pivoting toward console exclusivity on a case-by-case basis, there is a possibility that a Fallout: New Vegas remaster could be used to entice players to pick up an Xbox console. However, since Fallout: New Vegas was released before Bethesda and Obsidian were purchased by Microsoft, there is also an argument to be made for a multiplatform release. Time will tell if a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas will reach store shelves anytime soon.
