New information about Attack on Titan 3 will be revealed on July 1, 2026. The game is currently scheduled for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
Published by Koei Tecmo and developed by Omega Force (Dynasty Warriors), the first Attack on Titan video game was released worldwide in 2016. A sequel, Attack on Titan 2, was released in March 2018 across various platforms.
The hack-and-slash action game follows the events of the Attack on Titan series, written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, and its anime adaptation initially produced by Wit Studio (Spy x Family) before transitioning to studio MAPPA (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen) for its final episodes. Attack on Titan 3 will be the first new entry in the gaming series since the manga wrapped up in April 2021 and the anime in November 2023.
“A century ago, the grotesque giants known as Titans appeared and consumed all but a few thousand humans,” the official description for the series reads, via Kodansha. “The survivors took refuge behind giant walls. Today, the threat of the Titans is a distant memory, and a boy named Eren yearns to explore the world beyond Wall Maria. But what began as a childish dream will become an all-too-real nightmare when the Titans return, and humanity is once again on the brink of extinction…”
Recently, Crunchyroll brought Attack on Titan: The Last Attack back to U.S. theaters in May 2026.
