In 2024, Ninja Scroll celebrated its 30th anniversary with a theatrical release that reached more than 500 theaters across the United States. Additional plans for the restoration are already in motion. Earlier this year, the upgraded version premiered at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, where it received multiple screenings for festival attendees. Fans can also look forward to a 4K UHD SteelBook release scheduled for early 2027, allowing collectors to own the restored edition after its theatrical run concludes.
