In 2026, few anime characters are more popular than the beloved protagonist of One Piece, Monkey D. Luffy. The Straw Hat Pirate is the face of modern shonen anime, and with both the One Piece anime and manga in the heat of the Elbaph Arc, there’s arguably never been a better time to be a fan of the next King of the Pirates.
Thanks to One Piece‘s latest collaboration, there’s even more Luffy-focused content to look forward to this summer. The series’ protagonist is taking center stage in Ocean Bomb’s latest drop, adding yet another chapter to One Piece‘s long-standing relationship with the brand. This new first look follows Ocean Bomb’s recent tribute to Nami, the Straw Hat Pirates’ lovely (and greedy) navigator.
One Piece’s Luffy Shines in Ocean Bomb’s Latest Sparkling Water Collaboration
The past few years have seen Ocean Bomb Soda become a familiar name among anime fans thanks to a long list of collaborations with high-profile franchises. Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Pokémon, Jujutsu Kaisen and One Piece are just a few of the major IPs to collaborate with the company, so it should come as no surprise that Ocean Bomb is capitalizing on the recent success of Eiichiro Oda’s flagship series.
Ocean Bomb’s latest One Piece release puts the franchise’s main character front and center with a brand-new Monkey D. Luffy sparkling water. The drink is part of the brand’s new Egghead-themed lineup, recently announced on the company’s official Instagram account, featuring updated designs inspired by the Straw Hats’ current looks.
Luffy’s new drink is officially lactic-flavored, giving it a sweet, tangy taste that sets it apart from the fruit-based flavors often used in Ocean Bomb’s other collaborations. It’s also a fun contrast to One Piece‘s other recent Ocean Bomb collab.
The new Luffy can is joined by a mango-flavored Nami release. Like Luffy’s new flavor, Nami’s version pairs well with the tropical, summer-ready feel of Ocean Bomb’s sparkling water lineup, giving fans two colorful Egghead cans to hunt down.
The Egghead design also makes this can especially fun for One Piece fans. The arc’s futuristic setting has given the Straw Hat Pirates some of their most recognizable recent outfits, and Luffy’s updated look helps separate this Ocean Bomb release from previous versions of the character.
Availability may vary by region, but Ocean Bomb’s One Piece drinks have previously appeared in Asian grocery stores, specialty retailers and online import shops. For fans who can find it, the new Luffy sparkling water offers a sweet, tangy drink and a collectible Egghead-era can in one release.
