Naruto Launches New ‘Noir Edge’ Series With a Dark Uzumaki Design

Naruto is back this year with a new series, but it isn’t an anime or manga. Bandai is officially releasing a brand new series of figures with a noir theme. So far, the only available figure is a black-and-white version of Naruto Uzumaki with red eyes, but Bandai has confirmed that more figures are on the way.

Other anime characters who have gotten the noir treatment from Bandai’s Banpresto line include Denji from Chainsaw Man and Deku and Himiko Toga from My Hero Academia, and some of Naruto‘s best characters should join them soon. While the Naruto Shippuden Noir Edge figure was sold out before launch, it’s now available again, making it the perfect time for fans to add it to their collection

Naruto: Shippuden Noir Edge Collection Shows Naruto in Black and White

The currently-released Naruto Uzumaki Noir Edge Collection figure stands at around 9 inches tall and is molded from high-quality PVC. It’s almost entirely monochrome, but there are a few pops of bright red that really make the figure stand out, like his bold red eyes and Uzumaki Clan symbol on his back.

Like other Noir Edge figures from Bandai, this version of Naruto looks like he stepped out of a classic noir film. His hands are forming the sign for his signature Shadow Clone Jutsu, making him look like he’s ready for battle.

The release of this new figure is sure to delight fans, although it is one of the more minor releases for the franchise this year. One of the biggest, on the other hand, is still to come in the form of the long-overdue four-part Naruto anniversary special from Studio Pierrot.

Originally announced in 2023 before being delayed and revisited, the Naruto anniversary episodes are widely expected to premiere in late 2026. Updates on the highly anticipated special have been few and far between, but reports from insiders state that the episodes are officially complete.

While the mainline Naruto series has long since ended, fans still have plenty of ways to enjoy and celebrate their favorite franchise. Among the most recent of these is the life-size Naruto Konoha Land at Parc Spirou Provence. Unfortunately, the Parc Spirou amusement park is indeed all the way in France, a decision that drew the ire of many fans.

Naruto Konoha Land opened on April 4, 2026, offering fans the opportunity to explore iconic locales from the series, including the Konoha Gate, Team Kakashi’s training logs, Hokage Rock and the dango shop, each dotted with life-sized statues of various characters.

Ahead of the opening of Naruto Konoha Land, Parc Spirou Provence park manager Hervé Luxe said of the project, “It is a great joy and an honor for us to bring the Naruto universe to life at Parc Spirou… Led hand in hand between the Park, Mediatoon Licensing, and our Japanese partners Shueisha, Studio Pierrot, and TV Tokyo, this project will allow us to offer visitors the most immersive experience possible for a theme park.”
